Why not join us for a fun session of dancing? You will be assured of a friendly welcome at our club sessions The dances are explained before we do them, and if you don't know the moves, experienced dancers will show you what to do. We also hold dances some with live music, on Saturday evenings together with other events including afternoon Cream Tea dances and a yearly residential dance weekend.

What is English Folk Dancing?

You have seen it on the Jane Austen movies! The English country dance developed around 1650, but new dances are still being written today. The dancers form a group called a set and perform figures which create patterns to the music. To see what it looks like, go to YouTube.

Club nights are still suspended, but we are organising dances. The next one is a cream tea dance on Sunday 5th December. Click Other Events for more information.
