Our Folk Dance Club
Shoreham Folk Dance Club was founded in February 1949. We hold dances on some Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
What is English Folk Dancing?
You have seen it on the Jane Austen movies! The English country dance developed around 1650, but new dances are still being written today. The dancers form a group called a set and perform figures which create patterns to the music. To see what it looks like, go to YouTube.
